Sao Kong and Fei Por
First I got an sms from the bridezilla inviting everybody to come party with her at a new cafe/restaurant/bar where there is karaoke all night long. I promptly deleted message and forgot all about it.
Then I bumped into an old acquaintance who still hangs out with the motley crew of washed-up musicians. She has been going to this new watering hole with the guys and now reports to me excitedly that the walking nightmare is there every weekend, hogging the mike and taking centre stage all night long like she is the star performer of the joint.
I had to ask: How are the sao kong (skinny man) and the fei por (fat woman)?
Without a moment's hesitation, she cheerily said, "Aiyoh. So poor thing. Who ask him marry her? Sao kong now so sao. Fei por now so fei. Aiyoh! You cannot believe it, man."
Sure I can. And ya lor, who ask him?

ahahha. so gross. i hope i don't accidentally walk into that cafe/bar/restaurant!!!
imp - so mean lah :)
not likely you accidentally end up there. it's in industri-park. it's not a resurrection of the old place. clientele is very aging bald paunchy male of channel U taiwan type.
wah - that is gross! haha
haha.. sao kong and fei por. i like the description, sounds like some cantonese comedy.
edpj - she would be a caricature and a joke if she were not so offensive.
Imp, i actuall want to know which bar/restaurant, and purposely walk into it and giving her the jitters that I'm gonna steal the limelight (again)...heeheehee. I meaner...OK kidding...First i don't think I still have the charm, second i don't think i'm bothered, and 3rdly i'm so busy la
suziewong - can give you address, but you can't be bothered lah. anyway the lau ban niang is taiwanese and a very good singer/showgirl dancer type in her own right. older good looking woman with very good stage makeup when at work. i think she will love to have you help her push the fei por off centre stage.
