Yes, I was a member of Club Singapura the entire time I lived in California.

Yes, all we ever do is meet to eat.
Yes, we are so Singaporean like that, no matter where we live.
Yes, the club still has relevance after all these years.

Don't we singaporeans just love to eat so much all our greetings are centred around it, like "jiak ba buay?"(hokkien), "sek bao mei?"(cantonese), "chi bao leh ma?" (mandarin), "eat already?" and "mana makan?"(malay)
suziewong - true true. but clubsingapura REALLY was like a makan club for singaporeans haha
don't know if it's just my friends, but friends who lived overseas always say they miss the food more than family and friends. so terrible right? hahah... same goes for me.
