A Saturday with friends
We were finally ready to gather friends for dinner over the weekend. But not quite ready to actually cook the entire meal ourselves. So we compromised.
We met up at our other kitchen, and introduced the friends to what has to be the finest in zhi char cuisine. Then we headed back home for drinks and desserts.
The arrangement worked well. We were not exhausted from trying to do too much, and so were able to enjoy the companionship that much more.
On a different but related note, eatdrinkplayjunkie did not make it to dinner with us. Baby Tyler arrived two weeks earlier than expected. Mother and son are doing well; I presume Daddy is exhausted :)
