rarely do pple decorate their front entrances nowadays because of inconsiderate neighbors. ugh.

Such a beautiful set-up! This is what I always envisoned for myself but believe it or not, the management of condos in HK do not allow anything at yr doorstep - not even a pair of sliipers or door mat ..no kidding! But I simply love yours!
Anyway, I hv stayed at Hali Hotel, Istanbul and if u hv not, I wouldn't recommend it coz the hygiene standards and level of comfort is like 2 star only (I'm being kind).
We hv had gypsy parties many nights in Turkey (live gypsy musicians) and learnt their dance - not easy, rhythm very hard but beautiful. Totally different fm Egyptian bellydance. But certainly an experience. The gypsy festival is an annual event.

Oh, are you going to the Oasis Bellydance Gala on July 15 at the Viceroy? It sounds like the dinner shows we have here. Our next one is July 28 by Pyramid Dancer.

Gypsy festival - I like looking and listening (music) but honestly, I don't know what the hell I was doing (or trying to do!) with the dance steps. Did u tk lessons in Turkish bellydance? Again, not quite my thing but beautiful to watch (not the chessy/touristy shows) of course.
VB: Go and enjoy lah. A lot of money and work went into organising these events.
I did not take Turkish bellydance lessons.
