haha. ya, singaporeans have this habit. at least smile lah. i always find it easier to smile at non-locals. it's second nature to me. and... what are they staring at huh? that is a stage i think. so maybe some dance moves? any prizes for guessing? hhahaha. typical singaporean, so kiasu. :P
It's how critical they look that gets to me. It looks like they can't decide what it is, whether they like it or not, and there's no one to tell them whatever they're looking at is good or not, so they just scowl in the mean time. They cannot just enjoy the moment.
